About Me
Hi everyone and welcome to my blog! My name is Marijan, but my friends and family call me Mika. I’m almost 40 years old, and I’ve spent my whole career (almost 20 years) working as a technical consultant, solution architect, and project manager for business software. I specialize in ERP systems and SQL databases, but I would like to expand my career and try to incorporate data analysis, business analysis, and AI into my skill set.
My goal is to combine this knowledge to offer comprehensive solutions to businesses and to help them make data-driven decisions. This blog will be a place where I will share my experiences and journeys. I will do my best to provide valuable insights into enterprise systems, business processes, data analytics, and AI. I will give you advice on how to implement business software and how to use tools like Excel, SQL, and Python to turn data into actionable insights. I’m a big fan of deep work, so I will share my thoughts on productivity and work-life balance.
I think that sharing my experiences and challenges can help others who are on a similar path. Also, I think that having a blog is a great way to connect with like-minded people who share my passion for tech, business, and continuous learning.
When I’m not working, I have a few hobbies that keep me inspired:
Books: I love books on technology, business, psychology, and productivity, but I also read a lot of Sci-Fi.
Investing (Stocks/ETFs): Can investing be considered a hobby? Well, I think so…
Hiking: Mountains are a place where I go to recharge. I wish I could go hiking more often.
Music: I cannot live without it. I usually listen to Rock/Metal, but I like (almost) all kinds of music.
Cooking: Who doesn’t like food? Well, I love to prepare it…
Photography: I love capturing nature through my lens and sharing my photos on Unsplash.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I’m really excited to share this journey with you and I hope you will find some value in my posts. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to contact me if you need any help.
Cheers,
Mika
